Humanity is old. Long, long ago It re-engineered the Galaxy for its own convenience. Empires have risen, empires have fallen. Technologies close to magic have come and gone.

A young woman, Mihana, tries to find out why. Befriending an intelligent, shape-shifting craft, she flies it across her world and beyond. Ride with her and uncover the truth behind a three-thousand-year-old chase whose consequences have shaped her life, and which has treated Threnador as collateral damage.

Bio
Hi. I was born and raised in Swansea, Wales, I read Physics at Jesus College, Oxford, before pursuing a career as a Chartered Accountant. Yes, over to the Dark Side...
I have had a lifelong interest in matters extra-terrestrial and am a Fellow of both the Royal Astronomical Society and the British Interplanetary Society.
I am married with one son, one daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, a dog, two cats and a varying number of tropical fish.
My extensive range of hobbies include sailing, photography, amateur astronomy, scale modelling and model rocketry. I hold private pilot’s and radio amateur’s licenses.
I have previously had three short stories published by the British Interplanetary Society in the Visionary and Visionary II anthologies.
Empire's Child is my debut novel.
